In Love with Self
A poem by Lynda Dyer
On studying material
That I teach every week
It suddenly came over me
That love was at the peak
It was such a realisation
Why had I not seen this before
Because I was not in love with me
It was like opening a great big door
Everything changed from that moment on
The audiences got excited
I told them just to love themselves
And everything would be united
Love yourself, and love your goal
Love others and your family
For when we are in love with us
The universe responded
The universe will send you love
From people you adore
It is that quick, don’t blink a bit
You’ll attract more love that’s sure
It all seems so simple now
But then it was a revelation
Love self and others, give of yourself
To the service of our nation
For we are compensated
By the service we provide
By loving us we give much more
With confidence and pride.
I always felt I had so much love
To give everyone else, you see
I just neglected to love myself
To fall in love with me
I have so much potential
to share with all of you
it was a gift when I was born
and so do all of you
So love yourself and feel your worth
For you will be rewarded
Not only by the folk you meet
But by the compensation granted
Spend time with you and sort out things
That you choose to change
Like hair, and clothes and nails and health
There could be quite a range
Persistent action is the key
For now you have a purpose
To fall in love with you again
So you can give more service
When you start feeling chirpy
With this new exciting you
Just watch the business come your way
The old replaces new
Its so exciting now
That love has come my way
In love with me attracted more
The very next day
Your children and your partner
Will fall again in love with you
The energy and vibes you spread
Attract behaviour that’s all new
So love yourself and others
And love your ideas too
Your purpose on this planet
Is to love all that you see and do
