Passion.....How do I find it???

I shared the stage once with Janet Attwood in San Diego. Janet is known for her book and work on “The Passion Test” so it is apt that I refer to some of her information for this article.

This week Anne-Marie Orrock asked an audience of Success Womens Networkers if they wanted to find or get back their passion and she had completed her course with Janet Attwood and was sharing some of her secrets. What a small world.

Anne-Marie talked about three words that were given to Janet Attwood that she believes is the essence of what is required to create anything you want in your life. Those three words are:

Intention: You need to DECIDE on what you intend to do on this planet

Attention: Give attention to what you choose to do in the form of taking action and it will show up.

No Tension; When you are open to what comes your way you let go of the stronghold you think you have on the world while you are attempting to be the CEO of the Universe. By “letting go” you allow everything you require to come to you. By holding tight to what you think should happen you actually stop the flow.

So for me passion is commitment, which is what we spoke about recently. It’s what get you up in the morning with excitement and a clear sense of your activities to achieve a desirable outcome. In the past 90 days I have found 4 coaching clients  who were “Interested” is a business idea, but NOT passionate. When we worked out a plan together to head for what they were passionate about, their lives changed dramatically. It’s a scary and extremely exciting idea which is what a passionate goal ought to be in order for you to put your daily energy into it.

You see, the minute the Universe sees that you are following your passion ( your reason for existence), it will send you everything you want to make it happen. Some people needed more staff very quickly. All of the people had a physiological change of wellness.

So to find your passion simply ask yourself “What is important to me? List those things most important and then number them in direct relation to their importance. Now ask yourself “Is number one more important to number two? And keep going down the list until you find what is most important to you. That’s a great start to finding out what your passion really is.
